Since picking up the guitar at age 14, Josh Friedman has performed locally, playing contemporary classical music at the Cabrillo Music Festival and worldwide solo, and with the progressive rock band Fractal. Mr. Friedman has received guitar and composition degrees from UC Santa Cruz. As an award-winning composer, His new collection Flash Pack for guitar was published in 2010.

Kassey keeps a very active schedule as both an International soloist and chamber musician with Areon Flutes. She recently played with Areon at their Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall debut in September 2007, and won the bronze medal with Areon at the Fischoff Chamber Music Competition in May 2008. Areon has also released their debut CD, "Flat Out!" which is available through iTunes and the Areon website. Ms. Plaha is also a proud Miyazawa Artist with Areon Flutes.
